| Class Description This course is designed to provide initial and remedial training in the handling and use of the law enforcement personal defense weapon. This course is valid for both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Participating officers must satisfactorily demonstrate prescribed proficiencies as well as achieve minimum standards of performance in various live firing exercises in order to successfully complete this course. (PREREQUISITE: There are no instructional prerequisites for this course. Participants must be from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Bureau of Training and Standards or from some comparable governmental entity.) |
