| Class Description This course focuses on the physical and emotional care you will provide for clients in a health care setting. Through classroom, lab, and supervised practice in area nursing homes, you will learn to provide for the physical, emotional, and environmental client needs; communicate effectively, carry out skilled procedures and treatments, and promote client rights. Teamwork, role responsibilities, and an awareness of cultural diversity are stressed throughout the course. PREREQUISITE: Admission to Nursing Assistant program. |
