Tips, recipes and resources will be shared for finding, preparing and preserving cultivated and wild berries and fruits of the Lake Superior region. Safe freezing, drying and canning methods will be demonstrated and samples will be available to taste and take home. Your instructor has been picking, preparing and preserving fruits since the middle of the last century and is a Volunteer Master Food Preserver through University of Wisconsin Extension Douglas County. Please bring a $5 material fee payable to instructor.
